As a Logistics Coordinator your goal is to coordinate our customers' movements by finding a qualified carrier to move their freight to meet all of their needs. You will be in direct contact with carriers to provide updates and negotiate rates on a daily basis. Being professional and courteous at times will be very important to your success.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
- Call on available loads to secure coverage
- Book, track, and trace all shipments from cradle to grave
- Provide customer service and timely updates through phone and email correspondence
- Negotiate carrier pay on all shipments
- Collect and scan in all required paperwork
Requirements:
- A winning attitude and determination to succeed

- Ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Modern Office Technology
- Prior customer service experience is a plus
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, transportation and logistics or similar field is a plus

Salary: $38,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
