What You'll Be Doing:
In this Logistics Coordinator role, you are responsible for overseeing and supporting the full logistics workflow, including monitoring inbound and outbound shipments, managing system and physical packing, conducting inventory control, handling logistics invoices and purchasing, and providing operational support. You ensure timely delivery, accurate documentation, and compliance with internal SOPs and safety regulations while collaborating with internal teams and external carriers to maintain efficient logistics operations. In practice, your responsibilities will include:
- Shipment monitoring:
- Track and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate with carriers and internal stakeholders to resolve shipment-related issues or delays.
- System Receiving & Packing:
- Process incoming shipments using computer systems and software, updating shipment records and generating accurate documentation.
- Perform packing tasks according to SOPs and the daily job list, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Physical Packing:
- Package and prepare goods for shipment following established guidelines.
- Handle, sort, and organize goods within the warehouse or packing area.
- Lift and move packages of varying weights (typically 0.5–25 kg, average ~6 kg).
- Ensure compliance with EHS and safety requirements during all handling activities.
- Inventory Control:
- Conduct weekly and annual cycle counts to ensure system records match physical stock.
- Identify discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory data.
- Logistics Invoice & Purchasing:
- Review and submit logistics invoices (transportation, services, customs clearance, etc.) for timely payment.
- Monitor warehouse consumables and coordinate with procurement to complete purchasing tasks
- Task Assignment & Support
- Execute tasks delegated by the supervisor and adapt to changing priorities.
What We Expect From You
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Additional certifications or training in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data tracking and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for inventory management and shipment tracking.
- Exposure to logistics, warehouse operations, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately handle and record inventory data.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages of varying sizes and weights (up to 15 kg).
- Fluent in English; fluency in Chinese is an advantage but not mandatory.
