This is your opportunity to join a world-leading coating's supplier as our new
Logistics Coordinator at Hempel.
You will focus on managing all logistics activities, ensuring process efficiency, timeliness, and compliance with legal and quality requirements.
This position offers the opportunity to refine quality management systems and business principles while working alongside our Logistics Manager for South-East Europe and a dynamic, diverse team of colleagues from around the globe.
Moreover, you can look forward to:
- Handling inventory replenishment for the assigned region, delivery, and warehouses
- Maintaining and analysing required inventory parameters and data in terms of required quality, unhealthy stock, goods shelf life, inventory levels, coverage groups, ROP and/or min stock levels.
- Purchase order placing in the system, supervision and coordination of purchase of goods.
- Working in close cooperation with the factories
- Supervision and coordination of goods supply to customers and other warehouses (internal and external sales)
- Invoicing, monitoring financial reserves for transport costs.
- Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure that resources are used effectively, and the work schedules and targets are met.
- Responsible of implemented KPI ‘s in taking corrective actions in the event of their deviations
We encourage you to apply, if you have:
- A background in Logistics/Supply Chain education is advantageous.
- Experience in inventory replenishment and management, warehousing processes, purchasing, shipping, and transport is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and the Dynamix system, with knowledge of Quality Management Systems being a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders in an international environment.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Italian.
