Chimera is seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst. This position will provide logistics Advisory and Assistance Service (A&AS) support to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA's) Global Threat Reduction (GT) Mission Support (MS) Department to strengthen allies and partners capacity to Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD). This position is located at Fort Belvoir, VA and the CWMD Readiness Training Center (CRTC) in Lorton, VA. This position requires a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-house logistical advisement to GT-MS and assist with the coordination, shipment and inventory management of Partner Nations (PN) equipment and training criteria.
  • Assist GT-MS Logisticians with Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) orders of equipment documentation.
  • Provide appropriate logistical support, development of plans, logistical coordination efforts, and implement solutions to support DTRA GT-MS logistical operations.
  • Manage equipment and repair trackers.
  • Assist in providing timely accurate data and metrics to support National Defense Authorization Act Section 333 Security Cooperation (SC) CWMD line of effort capability development activities with partner nations regarding equipping and logistical efforts.
  • Analyze and provide Analysis of Alternatives for Pricing & Availability estimates for procurements.
  • Track equipment procurements and assist with maintaining equipment readiness.
  • Assist with execution of equipment deliveries throughout the process of country engagements with specified PN.
  • Assist with the development of briefings and PowerPoint slides to aid programmatic synchronization meetings or in-depth reviews of country related actions regarding equipment.
  • Review/validate requirements for equipment.
  • Support the development of equipment sustainment plans; and identify and remedy maintenance and operational readiness concerns of PN equipment, as required by CWMD Security Cooperation Engagement Program (CSCEP), International Counterproliferation Program (ICP), and/or Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI).
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of logistical experience related to CBRN/CWMD/ Hazardous Materials equipment acquisitions, inventories, and shipment procedures to aid governmental efforts to support PNs.
  • May travel as requested CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift equipment, materials, and supplies weighing up 40 pounds.
  • Must possess a valid US Passport.
  • Must be able to understand, review and submit reports, and work effectively with a broad range of people with wide variety of skills and experience.
  • Must be able to work independently, using good judgment and discretion on assigned tasks and accept direction on given assignments.
  • Must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills and turn in timely high-quality products to the government. 
  • Must be functional with Word (intermediate), Excel (intermediate), PowerPoint (intermediate), Outlook e-mail, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Clearance:

  • Active Secret clearance.
