Job Description
You as a Logistics Analyst will be responsible of assist with daily transportation for goods that need to be imported and exported.
- Work, on a daily basis, with the Corporate Logistics Area to provide Plant I and Silver II with the transport required for the shipment of the finished product to our distribution centers.
- Work, on a daily basis, with the Corporate Logistics Area to provide Plant I and Silver II with the transport required for the shipment of the finished product to our final customers.
- Work, on a daily basis, with the Corporate Logistics Area to define Plant I and Silver II the transport to be used for LTL shipments, depending on the weight, dimensions and quantities of shipment and destination.
- Support to CS regarding orders sent (tracking and location of material)
- Sending Information to the Corporate Logistics Department regarding returns and disposal of damaged material.
- Follow-up when congestion occurs.
- Schedule container return with northern logistics.
- It is responsible for the follow-up from the request of operators to the payment of operations to carriers (transfer).
- Support, if necessary, the Receipt area.
- Support when required to the Import and Export area.
- Responsible for working hand in hand with the shipping coordinator to know when export operations are ready.
- Provide support in the area of Boarding, Receipt, Import/Export and Logistics to cover holidays.
Qualifications
- Analytic, problem solving and quantitative skills.
- Familiar with logistics and handling material control systems.
- Knowledge of goods cubicle.
- Experienced with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proactive, highly motivated and flexible
- Highly organized
- 1 – 2 years' experience in logistics.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics/ Foreign trade
