Logistics Administrator

Labcorp is seeking a Logistics Administrator to join our team in Tokyo, Japan.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and tracking of Inbound, Outbound, SM and Lab to Lab shipments for all locations in the region.

  • Providing precise and reliable feedback to management on specific Courier performance or issues.

  • Managing the overall Logistics day-to-day operations with the service providers involved in the supply chain to and from site’s referral labs and other designated locations.

  • As needed, support import or export paperwork for reagents/lab supplies associated with the nearest Labcorp Labs.

  • Providing feed-back to internal & external customers (*)

  • Document all process and service failures, resolve, and escalate to management when appropriate resolution is incomplete.

  • Ensuring alignment and support between Logistics and Finance including issues such as Unmatched EDI, Cost analysis etc.

  • Assist in the analysis phase and lead implementation of global best practices for processes and procedures.

  • Metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s): Providing timely and precise departmental metrics and KPI’s, internal and external.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2 or more years of experience in Customer service and/or Logistics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of international business experience

  • Licensed Customs Broker.

  • Fluent in Japanese and English.

Additional Job Standards:

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to use computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Strong verbal and written skills

  • Attention to detail

  • For Logistics Contingencies related purposes the incumbent may be requested to work during holidays and week ends.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service and/or logistics
  • At least 2 years of international business experience
  • Licensed Customs Broker
