Become part of Hempel’s growing & diverse Sales team. We are looking for you, a Logistics Administrative Support eager to provide efficient solutions to delivery challenges and focuses on the improvement of transportation service levels.
Make an impact and drive improvements
You will have the chance to coordinate distribution activities from the sourcing of raw materials through delivery of the final products to customers, as well as implement inventory controls and review procedures for compliance.
In this role you will report directly to our Logistics Manager, South-West Europe, be based in our office in Polinyà, Spain, and be encouraged to align with other colleagues from all over the world.
What you can look forward to:
- Maintaining working relationships with external vendors to ensure the availability of raw materials, components and sub-assemblies and ensuring the organization receives satisfactory standard of service.
- Gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation methods used
- Making standard calculations to accurately compile and report statistics.
- Coordinating booking and pricing of international shipments
What does it take to become our new team member?
You have experience in a similar role and are skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You support data-driven decisions and can adapt to changes easily. An academic background in the field would be appreciated.
You communicate clearly in both Spanish and English, both in writing and speaking, which makes you stand out.
