Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a talented and experienced Warehouse Shipping Lead to provide warehouse management support as a part of the Warehouse management and support teams. The candidate must reference their ability and experience in working in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team.
Working under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager the candidate's responsibilities revolve around coordinating and overseeing outbound shipping Team operations and must be a fast starter with the ability to work independently in a team environment performing the following duties and responsibilities:
- Create and maintain weekly shipping schedule
- Prioritize daily shipping schedule, assign and oversee work order execution
- Coordinate material handlers, and monitor supply orders
- Prepare shipping documents, including those for hazardous materials and international shipments
- Ensure smooth shipping operations and maintaining high product quality
- Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly status and weekly activity reports
- Performing quality control functions for inbound and outbound shipments
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, (Raymond Lift certification required within first 30-days
- Assist in loading trucks, filling orders, and preparing shipments for pick up and delivery
- Prepare BOL, inspect order for correct routing, quantities, and destination
- Schedule trucks for freight orders and ensure on time pickup and delivery
- Train and assist employees on proper procedures and problem solve issues that arise
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree, and at least 5 years of warehouse management and logistics experience
- Or High school diploma/GED, and at least 7 years of logistics analysis experience
- Experience in the integrated logistics support field, including any of the following areas of warehouse management, logistics program planning and concept development; provisioning, supply support, and inventory control; logistics automated information systems and analysis tools; maintenance concepts and requirements analyses
- Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Military Experience in a Supply Career Management Field
- Experience in supply, stockroom, warehouse, and inventory operation
- Demonstrated experienced or knowledge related to Network Infrastructure equipment
- Experience with packaging and handling of items prepared for storage and shipping
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or associate degree plus at least 5 years of warehouse management and logistics experience, or high school diploma/GED plus at least 7 years of logistics analysis experience
- Experience in integrated logistics support, including warehouse management, logistics planning, provisioning, supply support, inventory control, logistics information systems, or maintenance requirements analysis
- Active Secret U.S. Government clearance
- U.S. citizenship required to maintain the Secret clearance
- Raymond Lift certification within the first 30 days
- Military experience in a Supply Career Management Field
