Qualifications

VNE, LLC is looking for a Cleared Logistician I

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience:

0 - 4 years of professional experience; individual shall be capable of providing defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proactively identify and resolve obsolete parts (DMSMS) and material shortages before they negatively impact fleet readiness, operational availability, or overall support costs.
  • Provide logistics liaison services to NIWC and shipboard personnel. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ordering parts and assist crews in locating correct part numbers (PNs) and National Stock Numbers (NSNs) for critical systems.
  • Maintain, update, and audit a comprehensive spares database to ensure accurate tracking of inventory, usage rates, and available stock levels for fleet support.
  • Process relevant supply documentation, maintaining specific familiarity with Form 15 to achieve stock and acquisition of spares.
  • Tools: CMPro, Onetouch, Jira, Synchro, power query desired, must be willing to learn.
  • Secret level Clearance required. Must be able to obtain TS/SCI 

Job Description:

  • Review and track Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
  • Maintain logistics, provisioning, and sustainment spreadsheets and databases.
  • Support Configuration audits and documentation review.
  • Assist with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities.
  • Track action items, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with other contactors, program managers, and government stakeholders.
  • Support development and review of logistics documentation, and reports.
  • Assist with inventory, spare parts, and fleet support tracking.
  • Participate in customer meetings and program reviews.
  • Provide Form 15 support.

Essential Duties of the Job:

  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
