RocketAMS is an Amazon agency based in Australia. We are building a structured onboarding program for new team members and are looking for a Philippines-based LMS Consultant to lead the design and implementation.
This will start as a project-based role for 60–90 days, with the option for ongoing hourly work afterward to maintain and update the training system. This is not a full-time position.
Role Overview
You will design the structure of our onboarding program, coordinate with internal subject-matter experts, organise recordings, edit basic video content, and build the full learning experience inside Disco.co. The goal is to create a clear, well-organised training system that allows new hires to become competent without relying heavily on live training.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Design
- Plan and design the onboarding curriculum (approx. 10–20 hours of training content).
- Develop module structures, lesson flow, and learning pathways.
- Create outlines based on interviews with internal team members.
- Translate operational knowledge into clear, simple learning formats.
Project Management
- Build a realistic project plan with milestones and timelines.
- Coordinate with team members to schedule training sessions.
- Follow up with stakeholders and ensure tasks stay on track.
- Manage the project independently and provide regular updates.
LMS Setup (Disco.co)
- Build the course structure and internal knowledge base.
- Set up quizzes, assessments, certifications, and progress tracking.
- Implement AI-assisted features such as transcription and tagging.
- Ensure the system is organised, easy to navigate, and future-proof.
Content Production
- Edit training videos (simple trimming, removing dead space, basic cleanup).
- Upload and organise content in a consistent format.
- Maintain clean documentation and file structures.
What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)
- A complete onboarding program is built in Disco.co.
- New hires can go from 0 → 90% ready by following the course independently.
- Weekly internal training sessions are integrated into the LMS for ongoing updates.
- A structured, centralised knowledge base is in place and easy to maintain.
- The training system is stable, clear, and suitable for long-term use.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience in instructional design, LMS setup, or e-learning development.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Comfortable interviewing team members and turning information into structured modules.
- Able to edit basic video content.
- Technically capable with LMS tools and automation features (AI experience is helpful).
- Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
- No Amazon experience required — in fact, a fresh perspective is preferred.
