The Flood Law Firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to manage a busy caseload throughout the litigation process. Our paralegals work closely with attorneys to build strong relationships with clients, document and develop cases, and communicate regularly with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other key parties.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage a personal injury caseload throughout the litigation process.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, courts, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.
  • Prepare, finalize, supplement and track interrogatories, requests for production, disclosures and other discovery responses.
  • Obtain, organize, and summarize medical records, bills, and other case-related documents.
  • Track court deadlines and ensure timely filings and completion of litigation tasks.
  • Prepare court filings, scheduling orders, pretrial memos, trial management conference memos, arbitration notebooks, and trial notebooks.
  • Support settlement efforts by coordinating liens, settlement documentation, and other case resolution activities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
  • Prior personal injury litigation experience is preferred.
  • Ability to commute to our Middletown and Glastonbury offices is preferred.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience.
