Litigation Attorney

Our client is seeking a litigation attorney to join our growing civil litigation practice. We represent individuals and businesses in a broad range of civil matters, with a particular emphasis on real estate title disputes. Our litigation team is known for providing strategic, practical, and client-focused representation while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys courtroom advocacy, strategic problem-solving, and working directly with clients from the initial consultation through trial or resolution. The ideal candidate is motivated, collaborative, and committed to delivering exceptional client service.

• Provide skilled legal counsel and manage civil litigation matters from intake through resolution

• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and other legal filings

• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy recommendations

• Attend court hearings, mediations, depositions, settlement conferences, and trials

• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review and witness preparation

• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy, status updates, and expectations

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff on complex litigation matters

• Handle confidential client matters with professionalism and discretion

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Active membership in the Maryland Bar in good standing

• Active membership in the District of Columbia and Virginia Bar preferred

• 3–7 years of civil litigation experience with portable book of business preferred

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities

• Experience managing cases independently while collaborating within a team environment

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

• Schedule: Full-time

• Work Arrangement: On-site with flexibility for partial remote work

• Salary range: $100,000 to $120,000
