The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Join as a Litigation Attorney with ownership over cases from intake through resolution. You will work directly with clients and provide practical feedback on the tools used in your legal workflow.
What you'll do
- Manage litigation matters from intake and engagement through discovery, depositions, and settlement.
- Handle a mix of defense and plaintiff-side civil matters.
- Lead client conversations and explain legal strategy clearly.
- Use AI-assisted legal tools and suggest product improvements.
- Develop working knowledge of unfamiliar case types as needed.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 1 to 3 years of litigation experience, including boutique or plaintiff-side work.
- A JD from an accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one of California, Texas, or Florida.
- Ability to run litigation matters independently.
- Direct client-service experience and clear communication.
- Interest in startups and practical use of AI tools in legal work.
Bonus points
- Admission in two of the three priority jurisdictions.
- Employment, consumer protection, class action, or mass-tort experience.
- Experience in a startup, legal aid, or non-traditional legal setting.
Benefits
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 130,000 to 160,000 per year.
- Equity: 0.15-0.5%.
- A bonus structure is available.
- The equity interest is in the associated corporate entity through an advisor agreement.
Location and work model
- Remote, based in the United States.
- California, Texas, and Florida are the stated priority locations and bar jurisdictions.
- Travel approximately once per quarter to Brooklyn, New York, or conferences.
- Flexible working hours around case commitments.
Skills Required
- 1 to 3 years of litigation experience, including boutique or plaintiff-side work
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in at least one of California, Texas, or Florida
- Ability to run litigation matters independently
