Primary Objectives of Position:
- To supervise liquid fertilizer division, inventory, logistics, and day to day operations
- To maintain an adequate and accurate inventory to meet customer and cooperative needs
- To assist in the cooperative’s goals and mission
- Perform all tasks with outstanding customer service
- Fall grain operations- logistics and daily procurement of grain
- Aid Transportation Manager in dispatch of transportation drivers
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Organization and maintenance of all liquid inventory
- Maintains storage area by organizing and cleaning floor space
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
- Dike water management and required testing
- Weekly tank inspections, yearly clean outs, and manage 5-year testing of storage tanks
- Manage liquid employees and seasonal drivers
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Computer skills is preferred
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills
- Must possess or able to obtain Class A CDL license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
- Must possess or able to obtain Commercial Applicators License
- Forklift operating skills are preferred
- Related post-secondary education or related experience is preferred
