We are seeking a talented and experienced Linux System Administrator with expertise in cloud technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux server administration and a deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. This role will involve managing and maintaining our Linux-based infrastructure, optimizing performance, ensuring security, and implementing cloud solutions to support our growing business needs.
- Manage and maintain Linux servers and systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Implement security measures to safeguard Linux-based infrastructure and data.
- Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions to support business objectives.
- Deploy, configure, and manage cloud services and resources on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for Linux server administration and cloud computing.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in Linux administration and cloud computing.
- Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator, preferably in a cloud environment.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) and command-line tools.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Splunk.
