LOCATION: Augsburg, Germany or Bucharest, Romania
THE ROLE:
In our Linux department, we integrate software solutions in the cloud/server-based computing environment into our Linux-based IGEL OS. Our developers are responsible for the entire development process from planning to completion and specialize in areas such as software integration, development of clients/tools, customization and much more.
In order to expand further and strengthen our market position, we are seeking motivated developers for our offices in Augsburg, Bremen or Karlsruhe.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Integration, maintenance, and testing of partner software components
- Working on customer support cases in collaboration with our software partner
- Integration of new releases and adding IGEL configuration support for new features
- Maintain servers and unified communication systems on our development and testing infrastructure
- Design and implement automated tests
- Continous releases of IGEL OS partner Apps
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- System administrator skills or developer skills in Linux
- Administration skills in VDI environments
- Ideally knowledge of scripting or programming languages
- Python
- Bash
- C/C++
- Good knowledge of network infrastructures
- Network analysis and debugging skills
- Knowledge of load balancers, proxies, VPN
- Knowledge of certificate management
- Knowledge in authentication methods and identity management
- Skills in issue reproduction and analysis
- Technical communication skills
