We are looking for a skilled Linux Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in Linux system administration and web hosting environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cPanel/WHM, Linux server management, and web hosting administration. Strong troubleshooting abilities and the capability to manage and maintain hosting infrastructure are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Linux-based web hosting servers.
- Manage and troubleshoot cPanel/WHM hosting environments.
- Configure and maintain networking services, including IP, DNS, and NTP.
- Perform Linux command-line administration and server maintenance.
- Manage Windows Server and Windows client operating systems when required.
- Configure and maintain NAS systems, NFS, CIFS, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Troubleshoot server, network, storage, and file-sharing issues.
- Ensure server performance, security, availability, and timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and support infrastructure operations.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Linux System Administration.
- Hands-on experience with cPanel/WHM and web hosting server administration.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (preferably Red Hat/CentOS) and command-line operations.
- Experience with networking concepts including IP, DNS, NTP, TCP/IP, routing, and name resolution.
- Familiarity with NAS, NFS, CIFS, Active Directory, and storage networking.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux servers, networking, operating systems, and hosting environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing production web hosting environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Redhat Linux Certification.
