About LINE Pay
LINE Pay is an integrated online and offline payment platform under LINE MAN Wongnai and LINE Thailand, following the acquisition in August 2023. LINE Pay offers seamless payment services, including an easy and secure digital wallet, and quick on-the-go payment options for purchases, money transfers, or top-ups. LINE Pay services can be utilized within public transportation, for purchasing goods and services from partner brands, as well as for various utility bill payments.
What you’ll Do :
Strategy and Project Management (70%)
- Project Management : Manage & track delivery of Corporate level projects
(across business, product, IT, finance, legal, privacy, and compliance team) - Stakeholder management : manage group governance issue regarding related companies(LY,LFC,LCT) - system accessability, license, contract for internal services, align with group PIA, security policy
- Support management reporting for business performance, key strategic initiatives
- Operational Optimization & Change Management
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting : Track project outcomes and conduct post-implementation reviews to capture learnings
Finance, Accounting and Business Operations (30%)
- Liaise with Accounting, Finance and Treasury team from the Thailand office for the accounting operations and the external Tax firm.
- Procurement and Contract Management.
- Manage and responsible for all finance/accounting functions for KR branch for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing including (Balance Sheet Reconcile, Fixed Assets Management, InterCo Transactions, etc related to accounting).
- Review, monitoring and ensure completeness, correctness of all accounting records and tax records in the company including CIT.
- Contribute to process improvements and system upgrades to streamline accounting workflows.
- Coordinate with any audit process both internal and external. And ensure that all processes align to the Group's internal policies.
- Coordinate with Group accounting team and Financial Planning and Analysis team for monthly report including BS reconciliation and P&L accounts, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues.
- Coordinating/managing with external parties including government, auditors, vendors, and management team.
- Verify invoices from vendors and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, including bank transfers, and host to host payment by using ERP.
What you’ll Need :
- Need broad understanding of general company management(finance, accounting, business, product, development, legal, etc)
- Need proficiency in English & Korean
- Experience in consulting, accountig firm, corporate strategy would be ideal
It’d be Great if you have :
- Finance major education background
- Japanese language ability would be plus
