LIMS Business Development Manager

What you’ll achieve

As a Business Development Manager you will play an important  role in driving the growth of the LIMS product  by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and developing strategies to expand the company’s presence in the market. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, business acumen and interpersonal skills.

You will collaborates with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to execute business growth initiatives.

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to meet the organization’s growth objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including market expansion, partnerships.
  • A deep understanding of laboratory information systems and their functionalities is crucial. You should be familiar with how LIS software manages data, workflows, and integrations within a laboratory setting.
  • Drive the sales pipeline by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business deals.
  • Work closely with the sales team to convert leads into revenue, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to ensure profitable business outcomes.

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:Essential Requirements

  • A background in medical technology or working in a pathology laboratory  or private laboratory is preferred
  • Extensive experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Experience in healthcare (industry or provider).
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Robust understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in Pathology (but not exclusively).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Desirable Requirements

  • Technical background
  • Ability to present and draw up proposal.
