Fender Musical Instruments Corporation is a world famous brand with offices across the globe. Within Fender Musical Instruments Corporation’s ("FMIC") Fender Flagship Tokyo’s team, we are looking for a motivated person for a Lifestyle Consultant position. This person will drive our lifestyle product segment as well as implement new lifestyle initiatives within our flagship store.

An American icon, Fender was born in Southern California and has built a worldwide influence extending beyond the studio and the stage. A Fender is more than an instrument, it’s a cultural symbol that resonates globally.

We are searching for a Lifestyle Consultant based in Tokyo, Japan. Lifestyle Consultants lead our focus on bringing our brand to life in our flagship store by creating passion and motivation around our lifestyle products. They drive results in regard to sales, support new product introductions, as well as gather feedback for internal stakeholders to create new products and services.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to drive sales results in a fast-paced retail setting
  • Skilled in customer service and effective communication
  • Ability to create passion around the Fender brand and its products
  • Understand key sales trends and help implement appropriate actions
  • Understanding of point of sales (POS) systems
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude

Qualifications:

  • Fashion industry / lifestyle product experience
  • Data analysis skills
  • Understanding of the retail environment
  • Passion for music and the Fender brand
  • Native Japanese and Business Level English
