About HouseFacts
HouseFacts is building the system of record for the home, supercharged by proactive intelligence that helps homeowners stay ahead of maintenance before things break. For homeowners, our platform centralizes everything related to the property, including appliances, paperwork, warranties, and maintenance history, while using smart insights to anticipate upkeep needs, track appliance lifespans, and recommend timely care. For property managers, HouseFacts streamlines operations into a single source of truth by providing instant visibility into occupancy status, dispatching the right contractors with accurate job context on the first visit, and offering clients real-time transparency into property care.
The role
You'll own two things: lifecycle, meaning every message the company sends a user, and content, meaning everything we publish, including what feeds our social channels. On a team this size you'll also pitch in on launches, partner materials, and whatever else is in front of us.
Lifecycle and email
- Own every company-instigated touchpoint with our users, on both sides of the platform: homeowners on the consumer side and property managers on the B2B side
- Own our ActiveCampaign instance, including advanced segmentation, custom automations, and campaign execution
- Write and ship the onboarding, reactivation, and retention flows that users actually want to receive
- Partner with engineering to specify the product events and data fields lifecycle needs, then trigger flows off them
- Partner with product and engineering on transactional and system-generated email in SendGrid, owning the copy and the experience end to end so that every message that leaves the platform is worth receiving
Content and copy
- Own the content engine end-to-end, including blog and search articles, landing pages, and case studies tailored to the homeowner and property manager audiences
- Build content as a system rather than one-offs: produce larger pieces designed from the outset to be cut into social posts, email modules, and ad variants
- Run our content channels day to day, including the editorial calendar, publishing, and community engagement. We are testing broadly and doubling down where we see traction: search and video for homeowners, LinkedIn and industry press for property managers, conference and event material, and co-marketing content our partner real estate professionals send under their own name. You will help decide where we push
- Produce and manage high-converting campaign copy, ad copy, and the occasional in-product notification
- Optimize content structure for AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) across AI platforms to improve our searchability
- Keep voice, visual identity, and messaging consistent across content, email, social, ads, and partner materials, and act as the internal quality check who spots when something is off brand before a customer does
What you bring
- Lifecycle depth: You've owned an ESP end to end, not just sent campaigns from one. You've built behavioral segmentation, triggered flows off product events, run holdouts to prove a flow was working, and dealt with deliverability when it went sideways. ActiveCampaign specifically is a plus; the instincts matter more than the tool.
- Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in lifecycle and content marketing
- Dual-audience agility: The willingness and interest to write for two distinct personas: a homeowner making a personal household decision, and a property manager evaluating operational software. The mix shifts with the business and currently leans toward property managers, so you should be comfortable writing to an operator audience.
- AI integration: Fluent with AI tools in your daily workflow, using them to draft, research, generate variants, and automate processes while maintaining a strong human editorial lens and sound judgment.
- Analytical mindset: You measure what you own. Comfortable reporting on content performance, campaign and flow performance, cohort retention, and email health, diagnosing weak metrics and proposing pivots based on the data. Your channels are how we read top of funnel, brand awareness, and re-engagement.
