We have an opportunity for a seasoned Sales Leader to join Honeywell Life Sciences and lead the DACH & East Europe team. The successful candidate will have experience and a proven track record selling software solutions (SaaS) to the Life Sciences or adjacent industries in Central and Eastern Europe. You will be driven to achieve exceptional business growth leading a team of experienced Account Executives, Inside Sales representatives and Customer Engagement managers targeting both new customer & existing strategic accounts. You must be technically savvy, have a high level of business acumen and be a strong mentor and coach for your multicultural, geographically distributed team.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach and mentor a matrixed team of Account Executives, Customer Engagement Managers, Customer Success and Business Development representatives.
- Hire exceptional talent to grow the region in alignment with the EMEA selling strategy and plan.
- Own Executive customer interaction, guiding our customers through their digital transformation journey leveraging Honeywell’s rich software portfolio, spanning Process Automation, Industrial software, Quality and Compliance (eQMS, eDMS) software , Cybersecurity, Building Automation and much more.
- Enable the team to achieve or exceed annual order targets in Life Sciences accounts.
- Ensure the team delivers against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing footprint.
- Actively understand assigned account’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy and competitive landscape.
- Drive consistent results by effectively leveraging the wider sales team including Sales Engineers, BDRs, BDMs, delivery team, product team, and strategy team.
- Lead the development & execution of designated account plans and stakeholder mapping while addressing stakeholder priorities & pain points.
- Optimize sales cycles, using value-based solution selling methodologies with focus on business case definition, ROI, and business outcomes.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software sales with experience selling enterprise software solutions to IT/OT decision makers.
- 2-3 years Sales Management experience
- Strong SaaS sales experience
- Experience selling Industry 4.0 software solutions within the manufacturing industry.
- Experience selling Quality (eQMS/ eDMS) software solutions highly advantageous.

- Proven ability to engage C-level contacts for the purpose of solution selling, establishing peer relationships, articulating strategic vision, and closing deals with client’s business and IT and Operations leaders.
- Experience selling software to the Life Sciences Industry (Pharma, Biopharma, Medical Devices).
- Understanding the client’s buying and decision-making process; demonstrated ability to work effectively at all levels and influence key decision makers of the client organization.
- Knowledge of integrated operations, functional architectures, financial models, and impact of technology, and able to translate business needs into functional requirements.
