What You Will Be Doing
- Managing a portfolio of liability claims from lodgement through to settlement
- Assessing coverage, liability and claim quantum in line with legislation and policy requirements
- Investigating and managing complex personal injury and property liability claims
- Providing technical advice and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Participating in client reviews and claims strategy discussions
- Managing escalated claims matters and complaints where required
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, solicitors, brokers and external service providers
What We Are Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience managing liability claims (at least 1 years’ experience)
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and claims handling practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work autonomously
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Insurance or a related discipline
