Qualifications:
Strong Experience in Steel (LGS)
Strong knowledge and experience in LGS but having knowledge and experience HRS (HOT ROLLED STEEL) is a plus
Relevant Experience in the Structural Design of Residential building Knowledge in LGS Modular construction is a plus
Experience in USA Project and Market is a plus
Experience is Concrete is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Designing Light gauge steel framing and HRS framing.
Preparing structural design report, documentation and package.
Liaise with other engineers and trades for design development and deliverables Reviewing engineering drawings and ensure quality assurance of work before issuance.
Providing design recommendations for product solution, value engineering, custom designs that appropriate to product application etc. to enhance the opportunity to earn new business
Research and development for new product and construction methodology.
Technical Skills and Design software used:
Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents such as FrameCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE. RAM and Simpson Anchor Designer
Knowledge in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM/CAD software. Knowledge of BIM standards and protocols.
