Sanctions Compliance Senior Associate

We are a remote-first, global team, but provide the option of working in-office in San Francisco, New York City, Indianapolis, Sioux Falls, Porto, and Singapore.
The Sanctions Senior Associate will be a part of a team building a program from the ground up. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality of execution in the sanctions alert dispositioning activities, which is key in the Anchorage Digital’s BSA/AML Compliance Framework.
As Sanctions Compliance Senior Associate you will:
- Drive the execution of the sanctions program and sanctions alert dispositioning
- Assist the OFAC Officer with building out the Sanctions program
- Collaborate with team members and key stakeholders on firm wide initiatives
- Deliver results in a timely manner
You may be a fit for this role if:
- You have an analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
- You demonstrate organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload under changing deadlines.
- You have 2-4 years of OFAC Screening experience at a financial institution.
- You’re familiar with PEP, negative media, and SDN risks.
- You have experience with RDC, World-Check, or similar solutions.
- You’re able to determine false positives and true matches with minimal supervision.
Although not a requirement, bonus points if:
- You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. :)
