Come join us on the ground floor as the second lawyer at Bombora. You will manage the day to day commercial transactions for Bombora. You will report to the Chief Legal Officer, Chief Privacy Officer. We are seeking that special someone with strong transactional experience, business acumen and the finesse to collaborate with internal sales teams and customers. This is a challenging role that will ultimately redefine the way business buyers value sales and marketing.
You will….
- Coordinate with stakeholders in Sales, Audience Solutions, Business Development, Marketing and Product on day to day commercial matters
- Contribute to the development, improvement and implementation of internal practices, standard form agreements and legal process with relevant stakeholders
- Review, draft, negotiate and manage contracts, including enterprise and DaaS customer contracts, partnerships, vendor, data as a service licensing, and other complex agreements
- Use your experience to structure deals and define business terms in a way that drives growth and fosters good relationships with global clients from Fortune 500 to SMBs
- Timely deliver business savvy guidance on legal risks and company policies to internal business teams, and conduct effective legal trainings
- Provide legal support for Bombora’s Data Analytics, Audience Solutions and Measurement products
- Bombora’s startup so be prepared for the unknown, be available as a utility player to jump in with pragmatic business-focused legal counsel across a variety of teams and projects, and effectively manage competing priorities, stakeholders and team members
You have…
- 4+ years of experience as a commercial attorney, with a mix of law firm and in-house experience, ideally with a SaaS, DaaS, or media company
- 2+ years direct experience leading negotiations with enterprise companies and/or global agencies on commercial contracts supporting business development
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communications skills, excellent business judgment
- Able to effectively manage uncertain and ambiguous situations with strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills, effective at juggling multiple urgent priorities and managing project expectations and escalations
- Growth mindset, hard-working, self-starter, willing to be flexible, with experience working in fast-paced environment
- JD and authorized to practice and in good standing in NY or CO. CA or NV Bar a plus.
- Great to have, must be willing to learn: understand data privacy issues related to B2B data analytics and ad tech industry, understand programmatic advertising, comfortable with IAB terms, and experience using Salesforce, Docusign and Jira.
