Sidecar Legal is building an AI Associate for litigators at small law firms (“claude code” for lawyers). Our mission is to help lawyers grow their businesses by unlocking the 10x attorney within, making our litigators 10x better in both quality + quantity. We’re backed by SPC and Pear Capital.
We’re hiring a legal associate to configure the product for customers we are onboarding, quality check Sidecar drafted documents, and provide input into product direction and feedback around how to make the product better. We are open to an intern who is at least a 2L, or a recent grad.

You like moving fast. You are comfortable with making pragmatic decisions with imperfect information, and learning from contact with reality. You’re comfortable with rapidly evolving codebase where the roadmap may evolve rapidly on even a week to week basis.

Shruti: ex-Google, ex-Stripe, and scaled her last company (as CEO) to $20M in revenue. She most recently led product for a 150 person legaltech team at Google.
Jon: former lawyer turned Google SWE who has worked on a number of 0 ->1 products
Skills Required
- Currently a 2L law student or recent law graduate
- Experience with legal research and drafting / reviewing litigation documents
- Comfortable using and learning new technology and AI tools
- High agency and ability to work independently on a small team
- Strong judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Willingness to move quickly and adapt in a rapidly evolving codebase/product
- Interest in product direction and providing actionable feedback (startup mindset)
What We Do
Sidecar provides an AI Teammate purpose-built for logistics, designed to automate repetitive manual work across operations. By integrating with existing tools like email, TMS, and ERP, Sidecar handles tasks such as responding to inbound quote requests, creating shipment job files, and managing document processing. This allows logistics professionals to eliminate grunt work and focus on activities that move the business forward.
