The Senior Specialist, Legal Operations, supports strategic Legal & Compliance initiatives with a primary focus on technology management, operational excellence, and cross-functional program execution. The role plays a critical part in accelerating the use of AI, establishing scalable operating models, driving standardization, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the Legal & Compliance function.
Key ResponsibilitiesLegal & Compliance Strategic Initiatives- Support and execute strategic Legal & Compliance initiatives aligned with departmental goals and the Legal & Compliance strategic plan.
- Manage strategic projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and delivery.
- Collaborate across Legal & Compliance, DigITal, Procurement, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption.
- Set priorities and adjust project plans and resourcing within the Legal Operations area to address operational needs, capacity constraints, and shifting business priorities.
- Select, implement and maintain global Legal & Compliance technologies aligned with business objectives.
- Own and drive the Legal & Compliance technology roadmap in partnership with the DigITal function and subject matter experts.
- Lead or manage Legal & Compliance technology initiatives, including implementation, optimization, governance, and user adoption, in partnership with DigITal, IT, Security, Privacy, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct quarterly technology governance reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Support AI-enabled Legal & Compliance initiatives such as automation, document intelligence, analytics, and knowledge solutions, including pilots, phased rollouts, and adoption enablement.
- Help operationalize technology and AI usage standards through playbooks, governance frameworks, training materials, and adoption guidance, with a focus on business value, scalability, and measurable outcomes.
- Analyze operational and performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support quarterly operations reviews, year-in-review reporting, and executive-level materials.
- Monitor performance trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and value delivery.
- Ensure timely, accurate reporting and accountability for results across the team’s areas of responsibility.
- Drive process optimization and efficiency initiatives across Legal Operations.
- Support change management related to technology adoption, new workflows, and strategic initiatives.

- Strong knowledge of legal processes, litigation, case management, e-discovery, and legal technology platforms.
- Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities with a demonstrated track record of driving process improvement.
- Project management expertise or certifications.
- Experience working with e-discovery, litigation hold, and matter management systems.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing new processes, playbooks, or procedures.
