We're on the hunt for a Legal Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our in-house legal processes. We are looking for someone who is passionate about quality work and knows that good communication requires a great deal of care to ensure accuracy, consistency and timeliness. This is your chance to be part of a talented and diverse in-house legal team in a vital role that supports our business objectives. This role will develop, coordinate, support and manage the operational framework within which the legal function partners with the business to deliver the business’ strategic objectives, fostering innovation and technological advancement, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing and identifying risks and opportunities for value creation and continuous improvement.

In this role you will: 

• End to end management of all operational and commercial contracts and legal requests made to the Legal Team, from initial request to filing in the central repository once completed.
• Work with a variety of stakeholders across the business managing legal requests and queries.
• Implement process and procedures in the team to ensure the legal team work is done as timely and as efficiently as possible.
• Managing prioritisation of contract reviews across the legal team based on business priorities.
• Manage legal team technologies, including legal research tools and work with the IT applications team, to lead on the sourcing, implementation, development and ensure ongoing maintenance of any technology in the team.
• Work with the wider business to collaborate on a variety of policies with specific responsibility for policies related to contract management.
• Assist with all audits both internal and external, such as ISO.
• Liaise with the various business units and departments, including Finance, Marketing, HR, Compliance and Commercial, to understand requirements for contracts and make all stakeholders aware of any contractual implications, onboarding or other obligations.
• When required, arrange for the execution of agreements by the relevant signatories across the company.
• Assist with the budget of the legal department, including tracking against forecast vs spend.
• Manage any reporting needed by the General Counsel.
• Manage the Legal team strategy with the General Counsel based on business priorities.
• Facilitating legal team communication within the team. 
• Various administration duties including the management of the Legal team’s central repository for all contracts, templates and team information.
• Organising AGMs, committee and board meetings for all required companies within corporate group.
• Ensuring the company complies with legal and regulatory obligations in respect of corporate and company law governance ensuring adherence to corporate governance best practices.
• Maintaining statutory registers and filling required documents with the relevant registrars of companies around the world.
• Managing the company secretarial file and ensuring adherence to corporate governance best practices.

We think that you have: 

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Law degree or formal paralegal qualification. 
  
• Previous experience in a contract management role would be advantageous.
  
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with ability to simply explain complex issues both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multitask within a fast paced and agile environment.
• A flexible mindset with the ability to cope with changing deadlines and tight timescales.
