Over the course of this 12-month programme, you'll work alongside experienced legal professionals on real client matters, gain exposure to a range of legal services, from due diligence to legal operations and technology-enabled solutions, all while developing the practical skills needed to thrive in today's legal environment. With structured training, mentorship, and ongoing support from senior associates and managers, you'll build a solid foundation for your career while gaining insight into how technology and innovation are reshaping the legal profession.

Job requirements

• Law degree from a top SA tertiary institution. 
• Languages: English – spoken and written (required). 
• Preference will be given to EE candidates. 
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. 
• Able to work both independently and as an integral part of a team. 
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
• Commercial, proactive and business-like mindset. 
• A good grasp of Microsoft Office applications. 
• Be comfortable using technology and eager to learn new digital tools. 
• Demonstrated interest in legal technology, AI, innovation, or emerging areas of law (e.g., intellectual property, cryptocurrency law, data privacy) will be an advantage. 
• Good time management skills and the ability to operate well in high-pressure environments. 
• Strong team player. 
• Risk sensitivity and the ability to know when to escalate an issue.
