We are looking for a Legal Executive to support the organization in managing day-to-day legal matters, commercial contracts, legal documentation, regulatory requirements, intellectual property, and legal coordination.The role will involve working closely with business teams, internal stakeholders, and external legal counsel to identify legal risks and ensure timely resolution of legal matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor, marketing, NDA, B2B/B2C, and other business contracts.
- Provide legal support and guidance to internal teams on business and contractual matters.
- Review terms of service, privacy policies, and standard legal documents.
- Identify and highlight legal and contractual risks and recommend appropriate actions.
- Maintain and organize contracts, legal documents, trackers, and repositories.
- Coordinate with external counsel on legal notices, disputes, litigation, and other legal matters.
- Support IP matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and licensing documentation.
- Assist with regulatory and statutory matters and conduct relevant legal research.
- Prepare legal summaries, risk notes, reports, and management updates.
- Support legal audits, due diligence, and other legal documentation requirements.
- Stay updated on relevant changes in Indian laws and regulations and communicate key implications to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
Skills Required
- LLB degree
- LLM degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant legal experience
- Experience in a corporate legal team or law firm
- Strong understanding of Indian contract law and corporate/legal frameworks
- Hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
- Exposure to intellectual property, litigation, regulatory matters, and legal research
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently
- Integrity, confidentiality, and ownership
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
