We are looking for a Legal Counsel to build and lead the legal function from the ground up, partnering closely with leadership across all areas of the business in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Product Counsel

• al partner, providing pragmatic, business-oriented counsel to stakeholders across the company on commercial, product, and regulatory matters.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business teams on launches, partnerships, and new initiatives.
• Provide practical, business-oriented guidance that balances risk with speed and execution.

Risk, Compliance, & Governance

• Lead and implement internal processes to manage and mitigate potential risks related to privacy, data security, and insurance policies.

Strategic Transactions & Intellectual Property

• Support strategic corporate activities, including fundraising, M&A, and ongoing IP initiatives (trademark, patent, etc.).

Legal Operations & Infrastructure

• Build, improve, and scale legal processes, templates, and playbooks to support the company’s rapid growth.
• Identify and initiate opportunities for internal legal education, training, and knowledge sharing.
• Take ownership of key legal domains, proactively driving initiatives and managing all engagement with outside counsel.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of post-bar commercial law experience from a leading law firm and/or in-house technology company. 
• Experience drafting and negotiating licensing and commercial agreements.
• Hands-on experience advising on US and international privacy, data security, and compliance matters.
• Proven track record in building and scaling legal infrastructure, processes, templates, and playbooks in a high-growth environment.
• Experience managing corporate governance matters, including preparing board and shareholder resolutions and maintaining corporate records.
• Highly effective collaborator and team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Hebrew - a must), known for being service-oriented and able to engage cross-functional team members.
• Experience working with startups or high-growth technology companies is a strong advantage.
• Experience working with music publishers, licensing agreements, or media/content-related commercial partnerships is a strong advantage.
