Here's an opportunity to grow your skills and shape your path at Transurban. We're building a culture where you can apply your strengths, embrace new technologies and ways of working, and develop the skills you need for tomorrow.
About the Opportunity
As well as being first point of call to assist with administration and coordination tasks for the Legal team, the role provides executive support to the Group General Counsel and supports the Head of Legal Operations in the delivery of key initiatives in the legal operations space.
You'll join a collaborative team that values curiosity, partnership and finding better ways of working, while supporting critical business decisions across Transurban. You'll work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, building trusted relationships and helping deliver outcomes that support the broader business.
As our Legal Coordinator, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It is complex, meaningful, and exciting work so that our customers experience faster, safer, and more reliable journeys.
How you'll make an impact (your day-to-day):
Enable the Legal Leadership Team to focus on strategic priorities by delivering seamless executive support, coordinating key meetings, managing schedules and helping important initiatives stay on track through proactive planning and collaborative delivery.
Create smooth and efficient experiences for the Legal team by coordinating onboarding, travel, events, learning sessions, records management and team operations across multiple locations, while adapting to evolving priorities and business needs.
Strengthen partnerships with internal stakeholders and external legal providers by supporting supplier processes, managing invoices and helping resolve issues before they impact delivery, balancing service excellence with commercial awareness.
Help drive operational excellence by supporting process improvements, technology adoption and innovation initiatives, including the use of digital tools and data to enhance how legal services are delivered across the business.
Support the effective management of important information by maintaining accurate records, protecting confidentiality and ensuring teams can easily access the documents and resources they need to make informed decisions.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and a drive to adapt. We value the transferable skills and experience you could bring, including:
Building trusted relationships: Working confidently with leaders, teams, suppliers or customers to deliver outcomes, influence positive experiences and create strong partnerships.
Critical thinking and problem solving: Assessing information, identifying opportunities, navigating challenges and taking initiative to find practical solutions.
Exceptional organisation and collaborative delivery: Balancing multiple priorities, coordinating competing deadlines and partnering effectively with others to achieve shared goals.
Adaptability, AI and data literacy: Embracing new technologies, learning new systems quickly and using information, insights and digital tools to work smarter and support better outcomes.
Customer-focused thinking and commercial awareness: Understanding the needs of stakeholders, considering broader business impacts and delivering value through high-quality support and sound judgement.
Taking ownership of your career and development means exploring opportunities that stretch you. We aren't looking for a perfect checklist; we are looking for a strong foundation. If your experience aligns with some of the above and you bring a readiness to adapt, we want to hear from you.
