About the Role:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to provide proactive, high-level administrative support to attorneys and legal teams at the firm's Manhattan office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive, high-level administrative support to attorneys and legal teams
- Edit and proofread legal and administrative documents for accuracy and consistency
- Manage CLE credit tracking, calendaring, expense reimbursements, and scheduling
- Greet clients, coordinate meetings, and handle professional correspondence
- File documents electronically with courts and maintain organized case files
- Support billing processes by entering attorney time, preparing reports, and managing client inquiries
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely follow-up on pending matters
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of legal assistant or legal administrative experience in a law firm required
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Familiarity with Kofax/Nuance, InTapp, LMS+, or iManage is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
