🕘 Full-time | 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday
We’re looking for a Paralegal to join our Wills, Trusts & Probate team in Blackburn.
You’ll work closely with our lawyers, help progress a range of matters and support clients through what can often be sensitive circumstances. This is a great opportunity to develop your experience and build a career in Private Client work.
What you’ll be doing🔹 Drafting Wills, Codicils, LPAs and Trust documents
🔹 Preparing Probate applications, HMRC forms and estate information
🔹 Liaising with clients, executors, beneficiaries and financial institutions
🔹 Supporting with file opening, billing and progressing matters
🔹 Completing legal research and managing key deadlines
✔ Previous Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience
✔ Strong organisation and attention to detail
✔ Clear, professional and supportive communication
✔ Confidence managing deadlines and using your initiative
✔ A genuine interest in Wills, Trusts and Probate
Experience in Private Client work, a legal qualification or knowledge of a case management system would be an advantage.

Skills Required
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role
- Experience within Private Client, Wills, Trusts and Probate
- Experience using Proclaim or another case management system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence handling telephone enquiries
- Empathy and professionalism when supporting bereaved or vulnerable clients
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective organisational and multitasking abilities
- Confidence using IT systems and digital workflows
- Proactive, supportive approach and ability to work effectively within a team
