We are seeking 6 months Legal & Compliance Intern in our Geneva office to support the Legal, Compliance, and Risk (LCR) team. This role will provide operational and administrative support across a broad range of legal and compliance activities, including investor onboarding, document management, regulatory processes, and transaction execution support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the LCR team (e.g., document preparation, obtaining signatures, certifications, filings, and record keeping).
- Support the review, preparation, and completion of legal documents, including service agreements, transfer agreements, and subscription documentation.
- Assist with the fund administrator migration process, including coordination of KYC/AML reviews and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the review, preparation, and organization of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and related legal documentation.
- Support the opening of bank accounts and assist in monitoring investment transaction documentation and related processes.
- Review and gather documentation and information related to investor onboarding to support compliance with KYC/AML policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support AML, sanctions, and adverse media screening processes and assist in the preparation of related documentation and reporting.
- Assist the team in preparing for regulatory audits and compliance reviews.
- Maintain organized archives of legal and compliance documents, emails, and supporting information.
Qualifications & Skills
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, or currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Law or a related field.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required; knowledge of French is considered an asset.
- Previous internship or experience in a legal, compliance, investment, or financial services environment is a plus.
- Demonstrates strong digital literacy and proficiency with technology and collaboration tools.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and confidentiality.
- Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and maturity in handling sensitive information.
