Working under general supervision, the Learning Solutions Designer will be responsible for instructional design of courses in support Enterprise Learning. They will create new training documents, course materials, eLearning modules, and facilitator guides as well as re-work existing training materials to facilitate successful learning outcomes and goals. They will be responsible for facilitation of content at an enterprise level, engaging learners at all levels of the organization. The position will also act as the liaison between The People Experience Team and key stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with the Enterprise Learning Leader and team to assess and enhance current learning and development programs, policies, methodologies, strategies and procedures.
  • Evaluates performance issues, determines root causes, and makes recommendations for effective solutions.
  • Analyzes, designs, develops, administers, delivers and evaluates corporate learning programs, including management and leadership development programs.
  • Develops all training materials to fulfill on course outlines, including facilitator guides and presentations, exercises and scenarios, participant guides, quick reference guides, one-point lessons, and job aids.
  • Works with subject matter experts to understand content of training from an end user perspective.
  • Conducts Train-the-Trainer sessions and works with trainers to ensure they are confident and capable delivering training material.
  • Conducts training sessions, webinars, orientations, and workshops.
  • Works with various authoring tools and graphic/video programs to creates interactive eLearning courseware.
  • Works with translators to ensure training material is accurately translated, if needed.
  • Working with the Enterprise Learning Leader and HRBP's, ensures that people leaders have access to available content for their team IDP's.
  • Develops and maintains quality assurance of content creation, performance, effectiveness, and engagement metrics; iterating on content that doesn't meet the expected or needed impact as needed.
  • Creates effective methods for measuring learning outcomes and updates courses and materials to improve effectiveness.
  • Maintains current versions through the LMS and updating other internal sites.
  • Providing consultations and serving as a resource to business groups on the design, development, evaluation, and revision of learning outcomes, course modality, high-impact learning practices.
  • Conducts Train-the-Trainer sessions and works with trainers to ensure they are confident and capable delivering training material.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and webinars both in-person and virtually, providing support to participants throughout the learning journey. Collaborates with SMEs, business process owners, and vendor partners to ensure appropriate training materials are developed in accordance with established adult learning principles and Aloha Values and Characteristics.
  • Publishes and distributes training materials and content through our learning management systems.
  • Prepares data and reports that show learning effectiveness and business impact.


BASIC QUALIFICATION (EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE)

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field required. Prefer advanced degree in Organization Development, Instructional Design, Human Performance Technology or Organizational Behavior. Related professional certifications from Association of Talent Development or other Learning & Development organizations are preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience designing, building, and delivering learning programs, on-demand classes, and job aids for large enterprise organizations.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION (JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE)

  • Proven track record of developing effective learning and training programs that lead to improved performance in large enterprise organizations for multiple levels within the organization.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in designing and building valid content for measurement and analysis of learning initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to change communication style to meet the audience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to establish relationships with partners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to efficiently collect information and foster a collaborative working environment.
  • In-depth understanding of instructional design methodologies, human performance, and learning theories
  • Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
  • Advanced technical skills in e-learning and mobile training
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Clear and effective curriculum-planning skills
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time-management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, etc.) Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise).
  • Experience working with SCORM and Learning Management Systems (Docebo or other).
  • Proven ability to lead training sessions in a variety of formats that may include in person, virtual and/or webinar.
