Essential duties and responsibilities 

The Manager, Learning & Development (L&D) is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive training strategy that supports organizational performance, employee capability and long-term talent development. This role leads the creation of scalable learning programs and ensures training initiatives align with company goals and culture.   

  • Develop and execute a company-wide learning and development strategy that supports organizational growth and operational excellence. 

  • Create, implement and maintain training programs for frontline employees, managers and executives. 

  • Oversee training lifecycle including needs assessment, curriculum design, facilitation and evaluation. 

  • Research and introduce innovative learning solutions. 

  • Lead and facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops and leadership development programs. 

  • Coach and support internal SME to deliver high-quality training. 

  • Ensure training materials are current, engaging and aligned with operational standards and company culture. 

  • Own the design and delivery of orientation program. 

  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including content updates, reporting and compliance tracking. 

  • Establish and track KPIs related to learning effectiveness, training participation and ROI. 

  • Analyze data to evaluate program success and make recommendations for improvement. 

  • All other duties as assigned. 

Required Skills/Abilities:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, education or organizational development or related field. Master’s preferred. 

  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, organizational development or leadership development roles. 

  • Ability to build scalable programs in a past-paced and high growth environment. 

  • Excellent written and oral communication. 

  • Strong project management and stakeholder partnership skills. 

  • Proven experience in curriculum design, facilitation and program management. 

  • Experience working with an LMS and other learning technologies.
