The Team You Will Join
The MetLife Enterprise Learning Solutions (ELS) team sits within the MetLife Enterprise Learning & Development (EL&D) organization and is comprised of learning professionals who are responsible for scaling learning solutions globally across the MetLife enterprise .
We aim to help the business and employees grow their skills and reach their career aspirations through a variety of learning modalities . This Center of Excellence is responsible for the scaled delivery of Mandatory/Compliance, L eadership Development , P rofessional S kills and Artificial Intelligence (AI) training programs . Additionally, the ELS team partners with LOB s and regional Learning Partners in providing scalable content that can be localized as needed.
The Opportunity
The Learning & Development Consultant is an individual contributor role that helps to establish best in class learning resources for global audiences . The primary responsibility for this role will be to support the Mandatory Program Lead with cross functional opportunities to support learning engagement and m arketing as needed . It is this position's responsibility to understand and execute upon the content, measurement, engagement, translation, and maintenance strategies through strong relationships with Learning Partners, HR Partners, and Business Line partners.
Success in this role requires someone who can m anag e m ultiple p riorities and build effective working relationships within a matrix environment . You'll collaborate closely with th e members of E L &D in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
By taking responsibility and delivering on the following :
Design & Develpment of Courses

  • Supporting full project life cycle of some BAU Mandatory projects when PM needs assistance . Typically l ow complexity smaller requests that do not require detailed project planning
  • Execute learning needs assessments with SME to gather project details and create solutions that contain clear performance outcomes, encourage the right behaviors, include measurement .
  • Support process of submitting Mandatory Project IRs and coordinating with GP Strategies to gather the required information needed to kick off project
  • Gathering and following up with SMEs and GP to ensure Cost centers are accurately listed in CRs related to translations.


LMS Admin and Implementation Support

  • Own the process of r eview ing and shar ing FAQ documents with course owners to confirm information is accurate for current launch . Including audience inclusions/exclusions, Contact person for questions, etc.
  • Support assignment profile of target audience to be enrolled in course . (assign learners, AP pause, AP updates, course maintenance, etc.)


Course Analytics and Reporting

  • Provide b ack up s upport to Accenture and HR Advisor y Team for escalated Helpdesk tickets . Includes researching completion data, partnering with LMS Admin team , etc.
  • Generat e reports using PBI Mandatory reporting app/Audit Requests . Includes the a bility to manipulate data in excel from PBI.


Other Responsibilities

  • Leverage industry trends and benchmarks that foster efficiency and cost management, while managing vendor relationships in development of learning solutions.
  • Submitting PBI access requests for the Mandatory reporting APP
  • Performs other duties as required


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • Education - BS or equivalent experience
  • Language Skills - English required ; multi - lingual preferable but not essential
  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrates competence at networking
  • Program management
  • PowerBI and Intermediate Excel Skills ( e.g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP , Etc.)
  • Data Storytelling
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Marketing fundamentals
  • Cultural awareness and acumen; global perspective
  • Comfortable working within a matrix reporting environment


What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)

  • Global experience preferred
  • E xperience leveraging tools such as Copilot
  • Experience in managing translation processes
  • Video creation/editing experience


The wage range for applicants for this position is 62,000 - 83,000.
