As Compare the Market continues to evolve its capability, skills and leadership agenda, we're looking for a Learning & Development Partner to help build the workforce capabilities needed to deliver our strategic ambitions.

 

The Learning & Development Partner is responsible for building organisational capability, leadership effectiveness and workforce readiness across the business. Partnering closely with senior leaders and HR Business Partners, you'll shape and deliver scalable capability, learning and performance solutions that drive business outcomes, support organisational growth and strengthen our culture.

 

Some of the great things you'll be doing:

  • Partner with the business to anticipate future capability needs, translating strategic priorities into targeted capability and development solutions that accelerate performance and support the delivery of business objectives.

  • Design, deliver and continuously improve blended learning solutions across digital, virtual and face-to-face environments.

  • Develop and embed leadership, capability and performance frameworks that support career development, workforce planning and organisational effectiveness.

  • Optimise and evolve our Learning Experience Platform (LXP), ensuring colleagues have access to engaging, relevant and personalised learning opportunities.

  • Leverage learning analytics, workforce capability data and skills insights to identify capability gaps, measure impact and provide evidence-based recommendations that inform talent, workforce and business decisions.

  • Act as a strategic Learning, Talent & Development Partner focused on organisational capability and future skills, with an emphasis on strategic business partnering (40%), capability and skills architecture (30%), learning experience and LXP optimisation (20%), and governance and evaluation (10%).


What we'd like to see from you:

  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders to identify capability needs, diagnose performance challenges and develop solutions aligned to strategic business objectives.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business priorities, workforce trends and organisational data into targeted capability and development strategies.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, consulting and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility and challenge constructively at all levels of the organisation.

  • Experience designing and embedding capability frameworks, skills architectures, career pathways and leadership development initiatives within complex and fast-paced environments.

  • Strong understanding of modern learning ecosystems, including Learning Experience Platforms (LXPs), skills-based learning, learning in the flow of work, social learning and learner-centred design principles.

  • Experience implementing, managing or optimising Learning Experience Platforms and driving adoption of modern learning approaches.

  • Strong understanding of AI-enabled learning technologies and emerging trends in capability and workforce development.

  • Demonstrated ability to use learning analytics, workforce insights and evaluation data to measure business impact, influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
