We are seeking an experienced Lean Expert with strong project management capabilities to join our LEAN team to support offshore service globally. The ideal candidate will drive process optimization and efficiency improvements through Lean methodologies, ensuring that our offshore service operations are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. As well as support rollout new digital tools across the operational Site teams.

This role requires deep knowledge of Lean principles, experience in project management, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The successful applicant will ideally be based in one of our operational countries and will spend significant time working with our operational teams and expect approximately 30% travel in their role, supporting the delivery and optimization of our offshore wind service projects and should. Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Lead Lean Initiatives, you will be Champion of Lean methodologies (such as value stream mapping, kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) to improve processes, eliminate waste, and optimize operations within offshore service projects

  • Oversee and coordinate various lean offshore service projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards

  • Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies, develop action plans, and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce costs

  • Act as primary interface into the Global Operational Applications & Digitalization team, helping rollout new digital tools across the operational Site teams and point of contact of Operations team queries

  • Drives productivity initiatives across all areas of Service Operations

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and operations, to align and drive lean initiatives and process improvements

  • Provide Lean training, mentoring, and coaching to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and build Lean capabilities across the organization

What you need to make a difference

As well as passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or related field; Master’s degree or Lean certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) are a plus

  • Experience: multiple years of experience in Lean implementation and project management, ideally within the renewable energy, offshore, or manufacturing sector

  • Lean Methodology Knowledge: Strong understanding of Lean principles, tools, and methodologies with a proven track record of successfully leading Lean transformations

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex processes and make data-driven decisions to drive process improvement

  • Problem Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels

  • Project Management Skills is a plus. PowerBI and SAP Skills is a plus

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
