With your talent and experience in Lean thinking you can add value to our Operational Excellence journey and team by teaching, coaching and challenging the senior management and teams involved in the Operational Excellence Flow transformation

The Operational Excellence (OE) Transformation Lead is part of the TWINSCAN Factory (TF) OES team.

TF OES is the game changer for TF and directs the Flow transformation journey towards a lean way of producing our systems. The Flow transformation journey integrates Safety, Quality, Lean and Business Improvement and is event and deliverable based. The TF OES team drives TF to create sustainable change on the business performance and lean maturity, focusing on a full-scale change of organizational culture.

The Operational Excellence transformation Lead focuses on educating, coaching and challenging the execution of the Flow transformation over multiple TWINSCAN Factory departments or areas. You act as the sensei to ensure to drive holistic change in both maturity as well as business impact (SQDIP).

The OE Transformation lead reports into the Head of TF OES.

Role and responsibilities

Activities that you will do on an average working day are:

  • Educate TF leadership and stakeholders in lean philosophy and transformation activities

  • Coach and challenge leadership and transformation teams in why what and how they are transforming

  • Assess transformation progress at the Gemba and define next steps

  • Co-create and improve the Operational Excellence System (transformation activities, capability building and maturity assessment)

  • Align with stakeholders inside and outside TF on collaboration

You will be responsible for:

Drive the transformation towards Operational Excellence of TF

  • Act as sensei for multiple TF deployment areas

  • Develop and improve the standards (e.g. the Deployment Playbook) to implement OE methods and best practices

  • Train, coach and challenge the OE related deployment activities

  • Be an ambassador of Operational Excellence, Lean values and practices

  • Direct the TF Improvement roadmap at management level, as a result of strategy and goal deployment, while actively contributing to TF Business priorities

  • Respectfully challenge the status quo and be a catalyst in changing (leadership) behaviors

  • Build capabilities and develop the line organization

Grow the TF OE team

Be an ambassador of and actively deploy our TF OE vision and mission

  • Actively support the development of the TF OE organization

  • Drive OE teams' skills and competencies development

  • Manage stakeholders and relations, to ensure well established relationships to key stakeholders, drive satisfaction and be a trusted partner

Education and experience
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with Lean principles, specifically Shingijutsu, in various manufacturing settings

  • Expert in Operational Excellence/Lean

  • Leadership experience in international and complex matrix organizations

  • Led complex transformation programs

  • Proven track record in change management

ASML TWINSCAN factory is responsible for production and qualification of complex lithography systems (XT, NXT). These systems are built and delivered to customer requirement, in time and at the right quality.
