What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Quality Assurance Lead Engineer with a strong background in both Functional and End-to-End Automation Testing, who is passionate about problem-solving and delivering high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a leadership mindset, expertise in automation frameworks, and the ability to mentor and guide the team members.

You will play a critical role in defining and implementing quality standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of robust solutions that serve millions of users.

Your responsibilities include:

• Driving initiatives to improve testing processes, automation frameworks, and overall product quality.
• Participate in storyboarding, solution design, and grooming sessions to understand requirements and provide strategic feedback.
• Oversee the analysis of business requirements, static reviews, and the compilation of QA test checklists for new product features and functionalities.
• Define and drive test strategies, and well-structured test plans, and oversee the coordination of test activities.
• Guide the team in deriving high-level test scenarios and detailed test cases while maintaining traceability to requirements.
• Ensure the development and maintenance of scalable API and UI automation frameworks and the automated regression test suite.
• Review and execute quality assurance test cases, both manual and automated, ensuring alignment with functional requirements and specifications.
• Monitor and interpret test execution results, providing actionable insights to stakeholders and publishing clear reports.
• Collaborate with development teams to investigate and resolve issues identified during testing.
• Advocate for and implement non-functional testing practices, including Performance, Security, and Accessibility testing.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying challenges, analyzing discrepancies, and recommending enhancements to QA processes.

What do you need to have?

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Hands-on experience in Web Application and API Automation, with expertise in tools such as Selenium, Appium, and JavaScript-based frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Mocha).
• Strong knowledge of software testing processes, methodologies, and test design techniques.
• Proven experience in creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Advanced knowledge of quality engineering practices, CI/CD systems, and build tools.
• Expertise in API testing frameworks like REST Assured, Karate, or Postman.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and Gatling is a plus.
• Familiarity with application security testing ( Burp Suite ) and hands-on experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS) is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Git, Bash scripting, Jira, and Confluence.
• ISTQB Foundation Level qualification or similar certification will be an added advantage.
• Previous experience working in loyalty or reward platforms would be an advantage.
