What You’ll Do

BGCSF is seeking a Leadership Annual Giving Manager with a proven track record of implementing annual campaigns, securing financial support from individuals, and implementing donor-relations strategies. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Major Gifts, you will lead our individual giving program to base and mid-band donors, steward donor relationships, manage communications, and execute campaign strategies.

  • Steward & Solicit Donors — Manage a personal leadership-level annual donor portfolio of ~300+ donors and prospects capable of making gifts at this level or higher using strategic personal touchpoints.
  • Expand Donor Pipeline — Support stewardship and pipeline meetings through strategy, tracking, and administrative support, moving base and mid-band annual donors up the pipeline and referring major gift prospects to senior officers.
  • Partner on Communications Strategy — Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop annual donor communications strategies, stewardship plans, direct mail campaigns, and digital donor engagement across web, email, and social media.
  • Lead Campaign Fundraising — Develop and lead fundraising strategy for year-end, spring, and LYBUNT campaigns, managing donor segmentation and vendor relationships.
  • Plan Donor Events — Organize and implement events, receptions, and tours for leadership-level donors to drive engagement and retention.
  • Maintain CRM & Reporting — Ensure clear and timely tracking of all donor communications in Salesforce/CRM, providing regular qualitative and quantitative reporting to department leadership.
  • Support Signature Events — Participate in signature fundraising events and Board gatherings with on-site responsibilities (check-in, seating, wayfinding) and solicit portfolio donors for sponsorships, tickets, and fund-the-need gifts.
What You BringRequired
  • 3+ years of fund development experience, with an emphasis on individual giving or annual fund management
  • Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills with experience developing clear funding proposals
  • Strong organizational, time management, and detail-oriented skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively with senior management, Board members, and external stakeholders
  • Commitment to advocacy for people, culture, and belonging values and practices
Preferred
  • Previous experience using Salesforce or other CRM databases
  • Event planning and donor engagement experience
  • Experience with MailChimp or similar email marketing tools
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for at least 2 hours consecutively.
  • Must be able to sit at a computer workstation for long periods of time.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $70,000–$88,000 annual. Final compensation is determined based on a range of factors, including skill set, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs. Candidates may be hired at the entry, mid, or senior level of the range, depending on qualifications and position requirements.

Pre-Employment Requirements

As part of the hiring process, BGCSF requires candidates to complete LiveScan fingerprinting, a background check, and a tuberculosis (TB) evaluation or test.
