Lead Website Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Website Developer to lead our development team. This position requires deep knowledge of web technologies, strong leadership skills, and a passion for building high-quality, scalable web applications. 

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the architecture and design of our web applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, secure, and provide an excellent user experience. 

• Perform regular code reviews, ensuring the quality of the code base and adherence to best practices. 

• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps. 

• Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors and third-party service providers, ensuring they meet our standards and contribute positively to our projects. 

• Mentor and develop team members, identifying opportunities for growth and providing constructive feedback. 

• Provide timely resource forecasts to IPT/functional organizations and assures proper staffing is in place to execute the SOW, while maintaining an integrated schedule. 

• Ensure successful planning and execution of program test engineering activities. 

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to optimize the performance of the web platform. 

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• 4+ years of experience with cloud computing (AWS) 

• 5+ years of experience with managing Software Engineering teams. 

• Strong expertise of JavaScript/TypeScript and proficiency with the React ecosystem  

• Strong Experience with Next.js and GraphQL 

• Experience building and maintaining modern frontend pipelines and design systems 

• Experience with performance optimization, security best practices and SEO 

• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, Go, or Java.

• Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, and Azure. 

• Strong understanding of web application architecture, including build systems like webpack, REST APIs, caching, scalability, and distributed systems. 

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with DevOps practices. 

Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 USD
