About the Role
Our Creative team is looking for a Lead Video Editor with a passion for film to join us at our London HQ. You will be joining an award-winning team to create theatrical trailers, TV spots, and social assets for MUBI film releases. You will be working alongside our in-house designers as well as cross-functional teams to produce world-class creative.
You will focus on:

Conceptualisation, creative development and execution of trailers and promotional material for MUBI titles and film groups.

Work to creative briefs and collaborate with our in-house design team whilst being receptive to feedback from stakeholders.

Manage large-scale creative projects and cross-functional relationships from brainstorm to execution and delivery.

Help mentor and manage Junior Editors and feedback on their edits.

Champion innovation - learn, apply and test new creative practices.
What you will bring:
-
8+ years of experience in editorial / post-production with a focus in entertainment. This could be from a studio, agency or freelancing

Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects

Experience with production workflows, media management, video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, audio configuration and frame rates

Ability to self-manage and organise workload around tight deadlines

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback

Impeccable attention to detail with an interest in the technical aspects of editing, a good eye for composition, and a keen ear for sound design

A team player– comfortable working independently and collaborating with others
