About This Role:
As the Lead Value and Access for Switzerland and Austria, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing strategies to maximize the value recognition of our drug portfolio among payors. You will ensure swift and equitable patient access to our medicines, working closely with public policy and government representatives, and forming strategic alliances with external partners. Your leadership in pricing and reimbursement strategies will directly influence the success of product launches and the preservation of value throughout product lifecycles. This role is integral to our organization, contributing to the overall strategy and performance of the affiliate as part of the Leadership Team. Your expertise will help navigate the complex healthcare landscape, ensuring our innovative therapies reach those who need them most.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the Value & Access function across Switzerland and Austria, aligning activities with regional objectives.
- Develop and define comprehensive access and pricing strategies for Biogen’s products.
- Negotiate reimbursement with government bodies to secure broad patient access.
- Manage strategic life cycle pricing to maintain access and maximize revenue.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders such as health insurance companies and governmental entities.
- Represent Biogen in trade associations and develop company policy positions.
- Lead the development and submission of reimbursement dossiers.
- Coordinate trade association activities to enhance company impact.
- Ensure timely reporting of any adverse events or technical product complaints.
