Lead Test Engineer

This is a hands-on, client-facing role, offering the opportunity to be involved in the full development lifecycle, delivering mission-critical projects for high-profile global organisations. You’ll typically work in small, tight-knit multidisciplinary teams, decoding tough software problems. We like our teams to have high levels of freedom and value collaboration and pragmatism.
What can you bring to us?
- A deep love for the craft of Testing
- Experience on large scale or complex Web Application and or API Testing
- Experience in Automation testing with technologies such as; Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI
- Strong collaboration and communication techniques.
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of the fundamentals of testing in a context-driven way.
- A desire to learn new technologies and approaches.

This role is based in our city centre office and is likely to involve occasional travel (infrequent day trips or a few days at a time) to visit our clients, across the UK. If you are interested in more travel, then opportunities are available, we are open to conversation on this.
Skills Required
- Deep knowledge and passion for software testing
- Experience testing large-scale or complex web applications and/or APIs
- Experience in automation testing using Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of testing fundamentals (context-driven testing)
- Desire to learn new technologies and approaches
