You will be part of Honeywell's VE/CE CoE Advanced Tech team driving Tech Charter & Strategy with focus on how AI/ML can enable us meet VE/CE revenue targets.

You will be driving requirements for AI solutions, outside-in product thinking, conceptualization, and feature scaling for solutions that improve product cost, component strategy, reuse, and business impact. You will own AI product enhancement and roadmap prioritization by partnering with engineering, VECE SMEs, and business stakeholders to convert user requirements into structured features and measurable value realization.

The role drives alignment across VECE, hardware engineering, and AI delivery teams, ensuring solutions are functionally relevant, technically feasible, and scalable across programs and product lines.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of experience, prior VECE program exposure, strong business understanding, and a hardware engineering foundation to shape high-impact AI product feature decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end AI product requirements for VECE use cases by translating business priorities, user feedback, and engineering needs into clear functional requirements and product backlog items.
  • Bring an outside-in perspective to identify AI driven opportunities in value engineering, component optimization, reuse, and feature adoption that improve cost, quality, and business outcomes.
  • Lead AI product conceptualization and feature scaling for VECE-related solutions, ensuring alignment with user workflows, program priorities, and enterprise impact.
  • Prioritize AI enhancements and roadmap decisions based on value realization, implementation feasibility, business case strength, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Partner closely with VECE SMEs, hardware engineering teams, business stakeholders, and AI delivery teams to ensure solutions are relevant, scalable, and operationally effective.
  • Develop business and functional competency plans for delivery teams so they can better understand VECE processes, user pain points, and expected business outcomes.
  • Leverage prior VECE program experience to drive governance, stakeholder alignment, adoption, and continuous improvement across product features and delivery execution.
Qualifications

Skills:

  • 15+ years of experience, including VECE program exposure, strong business acumen, and expertise in product requirements management.
  • Deep product ownership capability, including requirements shaping, feature definition, backlog prioritization, and roadmap decision-making across complex technical environments.
  • Strong VECE functional knowledge, with clear understanding of value engineering, component strategy, cost optimization, reuse opportunities, and business value realization.
  • Ability to translate business problems and user needs into structured functional requirements, scalable product concepts, and adoption-ready features.
  • Strong hardware engineering foundation to understand product architecture, technical feasibility, engineering constraints, and cross-functional trade-offs.
  • Excellent business acumen and outcome orientation, with the ability to prioritize features and enhancements based on impact, feasibility, and strategic relevance.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to align VECE SMEs, engineering teams, business leaders, and AI delivery teams around common product goals.
