Nike is looking for a Lead Technical Product Manager to drive the development and delivery of scalable, developer-centric cloud platform capabilities. You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and platform engineering, playing a pivotal role in defining the roadmap, building internal cloud platform products, and enabling engineering teams to ship faster with confidence.
This role requires a combination of deep cloud platform expertise, strong product management skills, and a passion for translating complex infrastructure concepts into clear, value-driven product requirements that improve developer experience, governance, and cost efficiency across Nike's technology ecosystem.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years demonstrated experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Product Manager, with specific experience managing developer-facing platform products.
- Product strategy and road mapping at multi-squad scale for internal platform capabilities.
- Deep technical understanding of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including landing zones, IAM, and resource tagging.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, and working knowledge of APIs, microservices, and SQL.
- Proven experience with cloud cost management practices (Cloud FinOps) and commercial optimization tools.
- Stakeholder alignment and communication across functions; value-driven prioritization using frameworks applied with judgment.
- Risk and dependency management across squads and partner teams; participation in at least four full-cycle projects or multiple projects across various phases of development.
- Strong experience working in matrix organizations, managing wide stakeholder networks, and navigating cross-product dependencies across time zone.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, and LucidChart.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
- Define and execute product strategy aligned to quarterly, annual, and organizational goals for cloud platform products.
- Lead cross-functional squads through the full product lifecycle: discovery, delivery, adoption, and iteration.
- Translate complex cloud infrastructure concepts—landing zones, IAM, tagging, guardrails—into prioritized, defensible roadmaps and clear trade-off narratives.
- Define the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for developer-facing cloud platform capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and leadership priorities.
- Conduct user research with internal engineering teams, analyze platform adoption feedback, and identify opportunities to improve developer experience and platform reuse.
- Translate business and engineering needs into actionable technical product requirements, user stories, and a prioritized, groomed product backlog with clear feature descriptions, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with cloud platform engineers, SRE, FinOps, security, and engineering leaders to design and integrate platform capabilities that improve velocity, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Embed cost awareness and FinOps practices into platform design decisions; partner with FinOps teams on commercial optimization and cloud cost governance.
- Define and track platform health metrics, SLOs, adoption KPIs, and developer experience indicators; present outcomes in Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Manage dependencies and technical debt in partnership with engineering leads; tie debt reduction to business and platform outcomes.
- Balance platform reliability with new feature demand; prioritize investments using signals from adoption, incident trends, and stakeholder needs.
- Promote Technical Product Management best practices, tooling, and frameworks; mentor Senior Technical Product Managers.
- Influence stakeholders across teams, functions, and time zones to align on priorities and outcomes without direct authority.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and demo sessions to drive successful product delivery.
- Resolve dependencies between platform and product teams, manage risks, and proactively address blockers as they arise.
- Lead the product lifecycle from ideation and prototyping to launch, optimization, and sunset, ensuring continuous delivery of value.
- Foster collaboration across technical and business teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, objectives, and deliverables.
